How frequent and long are the lessons?
Content is released weekly with lessons typically lasting 1 hour. On occasion, our tutors may deem it more conducive to learning to split lesson content across multiple videos and activities. In both scenarios, course participants will receive notification via email that new content is available in their learning area.
What happens if I miss the lesson one week?
Any video, document or presentation that is uploaded to the course curriculum will remain accessible to the student all while they remain a participant of the course. There is no restriction or limit on when and how often the lesson content is consumed.
Should I watch a lesson if I haven't covered it at school yet?
Of course! Every tutor delivering this course is a qualified teacher and has experience delivering AQA A Level PE. They plan and deliver lessons no differently to how they teach it in school, so should you cover content with us first, you'll have a head start when you come to covering it for a second time in school. Should you wish to bypass a lesson however, you can always return to it once you have covered it in school.
When can I ask a tutor a question about something I don't understand?
In one word - whenever! There are zero limits or restrictions placed on the frequency, timing or topic of your questions. On the course dashboard, there is a contact form that submits questions straight to the inbox of one of our tutors. So, should you have a question mid-lesson or during a homework task, you can fire it off in the contact form and a tutor will film a response and make it available to you.
What are the video archives and how will they help?
Our community thrives off questions as the video responses that you receive are placed into the video archives. Here, all course participants can search for, watch and benefit from previous question and answers. It's an in-house search engine if you will, comprising only of the questions the students want answering. Can't find an adequate answer? Send us your question and you can be sure we'll make one.
I'm half way through my course, and sit my exam in a few months. Is this course appropriate for me?
Yes. All of the content that has ever been added to this course's curriculum is available to every enrolled participant, regardless of their personal time frame. What it will mean however, is that students with only a few months until their exam will need to consume the content at a faster rate if they are to utilise all of the material. That being said, should a student want to dip in and out of specific content in line with their personal revision needs, then our course can facilitate this.
